RUBBER ANTIOXIDANT 4010NA FEATURES

Chemical Name              : N-isopropyl-N'-phenyl-p-Phenylenediamine

Molecular Formula        : C15H18N2

Properties: This product is a high-activity antioxidant for natural and synthetic elastomers, offering strong antioxidant and anti-ozone characteristics that provide rubber compounds with excellent high-temperature, fatigue, and flex resistance. While also used for ozone resistance, it is a more effective antioxidant than quinoline or diphenylamine-based antioxidants. The product protects the compound from catalytic degradation by copper and other heavy metals. At concentrations up to 2 phr, it does not adversely affect the adhesion of compounds to textile or steel cords. Above this concentration, it may bloom and interfere with interlayer adhesion or adhesion to cords. It colors compounds and may cause serious staining and migration staining on contact.

Applications: Used in pneumatic tire components, solid tires, belts, hoses, cables, automotive assemblies, bushings, and general mechanical goods that are subject to continuous or intermittent dynamic operating conditions and require protection from ozone.

Packaging: 25 kg bag, packaged in plastic-lined Kraft bags laminated with plastic fabric.

Storage: Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated areas in tightly closed containers. Keep away from strong oxidizers. Avoid direct sunlight. Do not stack.
