Task: Quality issues arise if the textile cord is not centered and the yarn spread is not consistent in a continuous width across the entire material, both before and after it enters the calender.

Solution: For textile cord: install guiding systems that center and spread the fabric before it enters the calender and use center guiding after it enters the calender. Center guiding is provided by guiding frames equipped with various versions suitable for the different tension zones of the machine. The spreading system works either as a single spreader (one actuator) or a double spreader (one actuator for each side). Single units can spread the fabric from the centerline, while double spreaders individually spread both sides of the material, ensuring the best yarn spread across the material. Behind the spreader, Triocanter units are often installed, which spread only the outer portion of the fabric immediately before it enters the calender.

Task: To center the material behind the calender and perform edge trimming.

Solution: Install an edge trimming system directly behind the calender and add downstream guiding frame guides for the rewinding process.

Benefits: Less initial scrap and continuous process quality control during production, providing greater reliability in manufacturing.
