Product Description
Foam rubber is found in a wide range of applications, such as cushioning in car seats and furniture, insulation in walls and appliances, and soles and heels in shoes. Foams are made by creating gas bubbles in a plastic mixture, using a blowing agent. Foam production can be a continuous process to make laminate or sheet stock, or a batch process to create various shapes through cutting or molding.
PVC Foam:
PVC foam is used in many applications to keep out air, condensation, light, and dust when compressed. Foam rubber products can provide cushioning, vibration damping, and sound absorption. Foam material also shows the ability to conform to irregular surfaces and curves, making it useful as a filler.
PVC foam is an excellent material for filling larger and variable gaps. It also has excellent physical and chemical resistance properties for use in foam rubber tubing.
These properties include:
- Fire and Flame
- Ultraviolet rays
- Most acids, chemicals, and solvents
